About US

Solidarity Nepal is an entirely non-profitable and social welfare organization dedicated for Social Transformation in Nepal, founded by Mr. Rajendra Gautam in 2010. Its headquarters lies in Kathmandu, with humanitarian activism in rural part of Nepal.

The stated purpose of this organization is to educate, engage and empower community leaders, bringing them together in nation building process, making them responsible to contribute at the local, national and international level to grant humanitarian service.

It is a secular organization that works for the humanity, open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, gender or political preference.

Through our contacts we have created a network that supports our cause and allows us to generate new ideas on how to continue our mission providing our services to humanity.

Our organization is leading a profound transformation in Nepal. Our commitment is to stand firm in our actions, which we believe will provide results and positive changes in the society.

To achieve this, we have a team of leaders and visionaries who every day make possible the transformation we want.

We also have a very well structured volunteer program, which welcomes people of all ages, sexes, vocational and educational levels, who wish to be linked to the social impact actions we take, as part of the core activities of the organization.

The largest single project ever undertaken by us is “Mission Literacy” to grant our children a far better education, scholarship to the children of underprivileged communities to give shape to their dreams and ultimately a much better future. This project also supports the Technical Education and IT infrastructure that can be given to the students and teachers in different community schools in rural areas of Nepal.

We want everyone to be healthy and well and to live as independently as possible. So, we provide service and support for a wide range of health and social needs. Besides Solidarity Nepal is also working for Community and Rural Development, Upliftment of the people who are socially neglected and exploited in the name of tradition. To solve certain Human Rights and Environmental issues Solidarity Nepal is doing welfare activities in collaboration with INGOs, NGOs and local organizations.

Solidarity’s best-known motto is “Together For Change”
