olidarity Nepal, an entirely non-profitable and social welfare organization aiming to establish and implement sustainable education, health, community development, vocational skills & disaster response programs in rural areas of Nepal distributed more than 1000 school bags to benefit 1000 plus school going children of Province no 1, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Province no 5 throughout the year 2019 in support from Solidarity International and Rotary Clubs around the world.
Bags were distributed to the students of:
- Jan Jagrit Basic Level School, Targauli, Nawalparasi.
- Shree Bhagwati Maa Vi, Kewabung, Illam.
- Shree Janakalyan Basic School, Aangdaang, Deumai, Illam.
- Shree Dharmawoti Secondary School, Siranchowk Rural Municipality Ward no 4, Gorkha.
- Shree Sarbodaya Lower Secondary School, Siranchowk Rural Municipality Ward no 4, Gorkha.
- Shree Janajyoti Lower Secondary School, Siranchowk Rural Municipality Ward no 4, Gorkha.
- Shree Sunali Primary School, Damti Saigha, Dang.
December 22, 2017 – Gulmi, Solidarity International accomplished ‘PROJECT HOPE – a literacy program with a goal to provide Full Educational Scholarship’ to the school going children from grade 6 to 10 of Shree Udaya Secondary School of Chandrakot Gaunpalika-Shantipur, a hilly terrain of Gulmi district on December 22, 2017. The scholarship was provided to the students of poor economic background.
Dec 18, 2017 – Baglung, Solidarity International distributed school uniform, sweaters, stationery materials, school bags and other school materials to 50 Poor and backward students of Shree Dhaulagiri Primary School of Barang, Gaunpalika-4, Salyan, a hilly terrain of Baglung district.
Feb 15, 2017 – Nawalparasi, Solidarity International distributed 41 school bags and stationery materials to the underprivileged students of Shree Janajyoti Secondary School of Bardaghat, Alhawal and Poor and backward children of Rupauliya-5, Kadamhaba, Nawalparsi, a terai terrain of Nepal. School students and community children were provided with stationary materials and school bag.
Jan 22, 2017 – Dolakha, Solidarity International accomplished ‘Fourth RudraMan Scholarship Award’ to the students of Shree Dumsijhang Lower Secondary School of Hawa VDC, a hilly terrain of Dolakha district on Jan 22, 2016. The scholarship was provided to the students who were under poverty and brilliant. From lower to secondary level students were provided with stationary materials, school uniform along with school bag.
Dolakha, Solidarity International accomplished ‘Third RudraMan Scholarship Award’ to the students of Shree Dumsijhang Lower Secondary School of Hawa VDC, a hilly terrain of Dolakha district on December 26, 2015. The scholarship was provided to students who were under poverty and were endured to massive earthquake of April. From lower to secondary level students were provided with stationary materials along with school bag.
The event was organized in the presence of President of School Management Committee Mr. Dil Bahadur Karki, School Teachers, Parents and Students. Altogether 73 participants were there in the ceremony.
In total 124 school going children were benefited by the project. Scholarship and Educational Materials was distributed by the representatives of the organizations to the students in collaboration with other guest of the ceremony.
